Reports that the final text of the EU legislation to implement reform of the CAP should be available to farmers and interested parties at the end of April 2004. The legislation covered will include cross compliance controls and sanctions and implementation of the Single Farm Payment Scheme. The Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department plans to send information to farmer in June on the basis of their entitlement calculations.
