Land deal to provide more affordable homes

Over 100 surplus NHS sites are to be transfered to the ODPM to tackle housing shortages including the provision of key worker housing. The sites are expected to provide more than 15 000 new homes to maintain and create sustainable communities. The money raised will be re-invested into the NHS.
