The latest figures in the "ODPM house price index" for February 2004 show a fall in the average house price in the UK down from £162 559 in January to £160 937 in February. House price inflation was up from 9.7% in January to 9.8% in February. The index also provides further information on house prices throughout the regions and the average house price for first-time buyers.
