Egan report: good ideas but where's the beef?
Egan report: good ideas but where's the beef?
- 2004
- RICS Press Release (pr39) 20 April 2004 (2) .
RICS backs the recommendations of the Egan Review but believes there are a lack of firm proposals for carrying forward the ideas. The creation of the National Skills Centre and changes recommended in planning are also welcomed by RICS. However, RICS believe areas that could have been reviewed more thoroughly are attention to a wider range of skills shortages and more detail to show how the requisite degree of community consultation is to be achieved.
