The Welsh Assembly has launched a major review of Welsh housing conditions. More than 12 000 households will be asked about their homes and neighbourhoods, tenancy details, housing requirements, income and disability needs. The results will help the Welsh Assembly tailor current and future housing policies. It is also intended to discover the number of houses which fall below an acceptable quality standard. Results are due to be published early 2005.
