The latest survey of house prices from Hometrack reports a 0.7% increase in house prices across the country. The highest increase reported was for the north of England, with Oxfordshire the slowest with only 0.1% growth. Bath continues as the fastest growing city with increases of 2.4%. The average house price is now £149 000 compared with £148 000 last month.
