Live and let work
Dwelly, T.
Live and let work - 2004 - Inside Housing 21(17) 30 April 2004, 30-31(2) .
Examines the concept of live/work accommodation, residential and work space within the same building, as something housing associations can provide to foster economic enterprise and environmental sustainability on housing estates. Typical live/workers include creatives, IT workers, architects and therapists. They save on commercial rents and travel-to-work time. Housing associations are well placed to become market leaders in the provision of this type of accommodation but will need much more policy support from funders and the government to achieve that position.
