Jones Lang LaSalle's(JLL) latest "UK property index" shows that returns on UK property grew from 3.3% in the fourth quarter 2003 to 3.9% in the first quarter 2004, reflecting an annual return of 13.2%. Quarterly returns improved across all sectors with the exception of the industrial sector which remained largely unchanged. Retail warehouses produced the highest annual return in the first quarter 2004 of 17%.
