Rooftop turbines are being installed at each of five Fife primary schools which if successful could be sited on houses and buildings across Scotland. The turbines were developed by Renewables Devices Limited and can generate up to 4000 kw hours of green electricity a year, saving up to 1720kg of carbon dioxide.
