The streets of London are dominated by vehicles, at the expense of pedestrians, according to a report unveiled this week. The report, "Towards a fine city for people: public spaces and public life - London 2004", by Gehl Architects, examines streets, squares and parks to see how the capital could improve its public spaces and become a walking city. The report is available at http://www.gehlarchitects.dk/html/projects/london/ pix/28780_TFL_Public_Spaces.pdf.
