The Tenant Farmers Association highlights the problems faced by farm tenants when considering diversification. Business advisors frequently suggest this as an option for business development, but often tenants are limited by restrictions in their contracts. A TFA survey, reported that 53% of landlords would take a negative attitude to carrying out of non-agricultural activities on let land.
