Business optimism at seven year high

The CBI and GVA Grimley twice yearly survey has been released. It covers offices, shops, factories and warehouses. 51% of companies said they were more optimistic in terms of their business than six months ago - the highest result since 1996. A higher proportion of companies also reported an increase in output - confirming that the UK's economic recovery is firmly entrenched.
