Building on "Rural delivery review" (2003) and following on from the government's review, (January 2004), of the good progress towards delivering the "Rural white paper 2000"; "Rural Strategy 2004" has been launched. It sets out three key priorities: social and economic regeneration; enhancing the value of the countryside; and social justice for all.
