Bracing for disaster

Hickman, L.

Bracing for disaster - 2004 - Law Society's Gazette 101(26) 1 July 2004, 18-19(2) .

Discusses the threat of terrorism in London. Considers that many firms and the London emergency services would not be able to cope with a terrorist attack. Notes that a disaster recovery policy cannot cater for every possiblity although some firms have invested in disaster recovery sites with certain guarantees such as 100 workstations that would be accessible within three hours. Examines further measures which firms could take including a basic disaster recovery policy and simple measures such as installing CCTV cameras in offices and underground car parks.
