The latest "Central London offices" report from Chesterton for the second quarter of 2004 reports that take-up in the quarter was the best for two and a half years, continuing the recovery that started towards the end of 2003. While there were some substantial completions during the quarter, the vacancy rate fell to its lowest ever - in Central London it was down from 13.1% in the first quarter of 2004 to 12.6%.
