Contrary to other reports recently published, the latest "Nationwide monthly house price index" reports an acceleration in house prices again during July 2004, with prices rising 2.1%. This took the average price of a property up to £254 299. The regional growth pattern previously seen remains in place and London is also seeing an improved market with a modest resurgence in price growth.
