The latest "Housing trends in Scotland" statistical bulletin has been published by the Scottish Executive, covering the quarters ending 31 December 2003 and 31 March 2004. The main points are that during the quarter January-March 2004, there were 9 745 permanent lettings of local authority dwellings, compared to 10 210 during the period October-December 2003. It also includes figures in new house building, sales of public authority dwellings and housing for older people.
