Trouble in the back garden
Trouble in the back garden
- 2004
- RICS Press Release (pr078) 18 August 2004 (2) .
Boundary disputes are often aggravated by the summer months when more people open their windows wider, sit outside and turn up their music. Common complaints include noisy music and televisions being played at all hours of the day and night, smelly rubbish and barbeques, a neighbour's tree or garden hedge blocking out light or just another row about who owns the dividing fence. According to "Anstey's boundary disputes" (ISBN 1842191896) most disputes take place in suburban back gardens and most could be avoided. http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRe lease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=1223&facul ty=RICS
