The RICS has responded to the ODPM draft guidance on the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 Part VIII. As well as making detailed comments on the specific provisions contained in the draft, the response also stresses the need for government to continue to reform the compulsory purchase system if the system is to genuinely assist with land assembly and urban regeneration. http://www.rics.org
