Two-and-a-half years on from the last revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations, the industry has been invited to comment on further suggested changes to them, and recommendations regarding the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (2002/91/EC). The BRE has reviewed the consultation proposals and largely welcomes them although it has a few concerns regarding the reliance placed on the Housing Bill and the Secure and Sustainable Buildings Act 2004.
