"Home ownership solutions in low demand areas" has just been published. It was commissioned by the ODPM and the Council of Mortgage Lenders from the Centre of Urban and Regional Studies and the Halifax Bank of Scotland. The report finds that there are plenty of opportunities for Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders and mortgage lenders to work together to make financial products and services more widely available. This increased partnership could breathe new life into communities blighted by housing market decline.
