The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) in its new guide: 'A quick guide to buying and selling your home' says that home buyers and sellers need to shop around and make informed choices when looking for an estate agent. This follows a recent OFT survey which found a high degree of dissatisfaction amongst customers about estate agents' services. It recommends that house sellers should get at least three estate agents' valuations and quotes for their services.
