CBRE has maintained its position a the top letting agent in central London for the third quarter of 2004, even though the total space that it let was half the amount let in the second quarter. According to the Egi London office database, the firm disposed of 594 000 sq ft in the past three months, compared with over 1m sq ft in the previous quarter. DTZ was in second place with a total of 48 deals - actually three more than CBRE. Third was Knight Frank.
