Reports on the recent claim and proposal by Peter Rogers, a director of developer Stanhope, that the specialist nature of professional bodies hinders co-operation between disciplines and that the individual institutions should be abandoned, revoking their Royal Charters, in favour of a single body covering the entire building industry.
