Housing crisis in the UK - 2004 - Regeneration and Renewal 22 October 2004, 3(1) .

According to a recent survey by MORI on behalf of Shelter, seven out of 10 people in the UK believe that the country is in the middle of a housing crisis. The results showed that 74% of people believe that rising house prices are the main problem with 61% of people citing run-down estates as the biggest cause of concern. Shelter has launch a national housing investigation aimed at assessing the real extent of housing-related problems.
