The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has issued a notice to all RICS members concerning the regulation of general insurance. The regulation of general insurance is an extremely wide-reaching piece of legislation and it is essential that all property professionals are aware of the potential impact it could have on their business. From 14 January 2005 anyone offering mediation services in general insurance must be regulated by the FSA.
