"Delivering housing adaptations for disabled people" has been published jointly by the ODPM, Department of Health and Department of Education and Skills. The guide provides a comprehensive checklist and advice to councils, particularly for housing and social service authorities on how an efficient adaptations service can best be organised, as well as how it can be effectively delivered to meet the needs of the disabled person within a reasonable target time.
