The ODPM has released "House price index: September 2004". The figures show that UK house price inflation rate rose slightly from 13.6% in August 2004 to 13.8% in September 2004. Annual house price inflation in London was 6.6% in September. The mix-adjusted average house price in the UK was £179 201, for first time buyers the price was £143 761.
