The latest "Rightmove house price index: November" shows that the average property asking price has fallen sharply this month by £3 200 to £190 329 - a drop of 1.7%. The annual rate has dropped from 13.4% to 11.6% in November 2004 and it is predicted to hit single figures by the end of this year. There are 40% more properties available now than there were in January 2004 and coupled with stable interest rates, confident buyers can negotiate good deals. http://www.rightmove.co.uk
