Is it worth it?
Wood, T.
Is it worth it? - 2004 - Building 269(8355) 29 October 2004 56-57(2) .
Discusses the increasing cost of going to adjudication with reference to research which shows that there was an increase in the number of adjudicators whose charge out rate fell within the higher bracket of £101-£125 an hour and further notes that there has also been an increase in adjudicators' total fees. The concern that the fees are not in proportion to the sums at issue has encouraged Hammonds in association with "Building" to carry out a survey to gain data about the level of adjudicators' fees and whether the fee is proportional to the sum being claimed. Readers are invited to keep or record relevant information and then complete the survey electronically or in paper form.
