DEFRA has launched a call for research proposals. The programme areas selected are drawn from six of eight theme areas identified in DEFRA's three year waste and resources research programme. These areas are: sustainable resource consumption and management, systems for resource recovery, social dimension, environment and health, economics and decision tools.
