End of transitional periods
Two transitional provisions contained in the Land Registration Act 2002 end at midnight on 12 October 2006. The first affects easements and profits which came into being by way of prescription or implied grant or reservation since 13 October 2003. The second protects the rights of squatters who had acquired rights under the Limitation Act 1980 prior to 13 October 2003.
