Foresight project on land use futures [electronic resource]
Microsite for the government's Foresight project on future land use. Considers how land use affects the economy, environment and society as a whole. Aims to provide analysis and planning for this in the context of future demographic changes, climate change, and the evolution of the global economy. The project is a two-year study which considering views from a number of experts in varied fields intended to provide guidance to policy makers. Evidence will be gathered and analysed within the project paradigm. Findings will be published around the end of 2009. An action plan will be produced.
