Building control your technical resource for Building Regulations [electronic resource] - [S.l.] NHBC 2012

Building Regulations apply to most new buildings and many alterations of existing buildings in England and Wales, whether for domestic, commercial or industrial use. Compliance is a legal requirement. The Government recently published a range of proposals on changes it wishes to make to reduce the burden that falls on business as a result of regulation within the construction industry. The consultation closed on 27 April 2012. This portal leads to NHBC's responses and the current status of consultations and planned changes to the Building Regulations for England and Wales.
