Suggests initially undertaking a desktop review of the building’s fire strategy, including its evacuation plan and its fire detection and warning system, means of escape, emergency lighting and evacuation of people with disabilities. Other factors to be taken into consideration include height of building and cladding, a review of the fire risk assessment and all current documentation relating to the building.
