These Monitoring and Investigation Rules are made by the Standards and Regulation Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) under Article 18 of the Supplemental Charter 1973 of RICS and Bye-Laws made under Article 17 of that Charter. Version 5 of these Rules shall come into force on 2 February 2022. The Conduct of Firms and Members are governed by the Rules of Conduct and RICS Scheme Rules, together with approved standards, guidance and help sheets
