Replaced by amended version in April 2025 to account for the introduction of the new role of Principal Designer (Building Regulations) following the passing of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the introduction of The Building Regulations, Part 2A.
RICS has published a new edition of their RICS Forms of Consultant’s Appointment, which are intended to be used by clients. Members and others involved in the appointment of surveyors are encouraged to use these forms when considering surveyors for a wide variety of different disciplines within the construction process and related fields. RICS Standard Form of Consultant’s Appointment is intended to be used for the more complex, medium or large ‘normal’ type service project appointments.
