ChD 17 May 1994. Raised question of whether a solicitor owed duty to inform mortgagee of subsale by which vendor selling out substantial profit suggested that mortgagee relied on incorrect valuation. In awarding £114,207.17 damages it was held that a solicitor acting for mortgagee and purchaser has a duty of care to each party to inform them of the information.
