In Regina v Lambeth London Borough Council, ex parte Clayhope Properties Ltd , CA 11 June 1987, the court considered the serving of notices requiring work on the roof and common parts of a mansion block of flats. A dispute arose because the roof and common parts were not within the demise of each leaseholder.
