In Edmonds v Edmonds CA 2 February 1990 it was held that the sale of a former matrimonial home by a former wife that greatly exceeded a registrar`s valuation arrived at some months earlier, was not the occurence of a new event that invalidated the basis on which the registrar had made his order.
