ChD 28 March 1996. A debtor owned half of a Minorcan villa and dying intestate his wife claimed his half-interest and transferred it to the person (H) who owned the other half in settlement of a debt. H became sole registered owner. Trustee appealed saying half-interest should be transferred to him and villa sold in England and proceeds divided. Held, Spanish courts had jurisdiction, appeal by trustee dismissed.
