Henley and Henley v Cloke & Sons HC 13 May 1991 examines the effectiveness of exemption clause s in mortgage valuation reports . Held that defendant surveyor owed a duty of care to exercise reasonable skill and care in the inspection and valuation of a property unless there was an effective disclaimer of responsibility.
