In Culworth Estates Ltd v Society of Licensed Victuallers CA 15 February 1991, it was held that the measure of damages for the disrepair of the premises at the end of a lease is the diminution of the landlord`s reversion where repairs are to be carried out, the cost of repairs are a real guide to the diminution of value .
