CA 23 February 1996. From March 1984 P held tenancy on residential premises held by L, under various shorthold tenancy agreements. A notice for possession was made in November 1990, but no steps were taken. P died in February 1992, vesting tenancy to J. In June 1994 L served notice for possession, giving two months notice. The court below dismissed L`s proceedings. L`s appeal and J`s cross-appeal were dismissed.
