A summary of the main findings of the latest contracts in use survey 1987, carried out by the RICS JO . Examines the distribution of contracts in use, the value of contracts and methods of procurement . Concludes that there has been a decrease in the use of JCT 1963 ; an increase in the use of IFC 1984 ; a decrease in the use of projects let on a lump sum basis with Bills of Quantities and an increase in design and build as a method of procurement.
