"Craneheath Securities Ltd v York Montague Ltd" CA 16 June 1995. The bank, having lost its loan, secured by a charge on a hotel, sold for less than the valuation on which the bank had relied, claimed the valuation had been negligent. CA dismissed the appeal as the bank was unable to show that the valuation was wrong. (See WB3011-46)
