"Banque Bruxelles Lambert SA v Eagle Star Insurance Co Ltd and others and related appeals" CA 20 February 1995. Five appeals claiming negligence against valuers and one against a solicitor were heard together, the complaint in each being that the valuers had negligently over-valued land and thus the lenders would not have entered into the transactions. The question was the amount of damages payable if negligence were established. Four appeals allowed, two dismissed.
