ChD 29 July 1996. P lending funds to 70 per cent on security of a residential property valued at £1.5m, was held to be entitled to damages for over-valuation by defendant valuers. However, they were found to be contributorily negligent to 20 per cent in lending a high percentage on an expensive property.
