Traffic noise leads to compensation claim - 1989 - EGCS (1989) 57 .

In Dhenin v Department of Transport , LT 11 April 1989, D claimed compensation for depreciation of value of his property resulting from excessive noise and traffic on the M25 . At the valuation date in 1981 traffic predictions were seriously underestimated. At issue was whether the Bwllfa principle applied to admit later estimates of traffic levels.
