LT 16 October 1996. Claimants sought compensation for the obstruction, by road works, of direct access to their property and the disturbance of peaceful enjoyment of their property. Defendants said there was no general right in law for neighboring landowners disturbed by public works to be compensated. "Held" compensation payable under the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965 s10.
